Awareness: The Fuel that turns Vision into Access
“A great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne.” — Revelation 7:9
Seeing What God Sees
Awareness is where missions begins. When we see the unreached, we begin to act.
Across the world today, 3.4 billion people, about 42% of the global population, live without access to the message of Jesus.
They are part of over 7,000 unreached people groups, most of them concentrated in the 10/40 Window, stretching across North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
This region holds more than 4 billion people, and it is home to most of the world’s poorest communities.
The Hidden Reality
This is why awareness matters. It’s not information, it’s ignition. When awareness rises, faith and obedience follow.
How Awareness Fuels Every Critical Area
Awareness isn’t just critical to reaching the unreached. It is the hub that fuels all the other areas of investment. When the Church becomes aware, the other five critical areas begin to move.
Missionary Mobilization
Awareness opens eyes to where workers have not yet gone, calling new workers to the frontlines. The Project42 community fuels their “yes” by providing resources to launch and to sustain their families living in the 10/40 window as they share the Gospel.
Church Planting
Awareness compels the Project42 community to plant the church where it has not been before. Each new church in a city or remote village represents a community that can now multiply faith where none existed before.
Business as Mission
Awareness opens the door to nations closed to traditional mission work. Through creative business ventures like farms in Turkey to coffee shops in Asia, workers gain sustainable access to people once unreachable.
Scripture Translation
Awareness shows us the languages still waiting for the Word. 990 languages remain without a single verse of Scripture and many more only have one or two books of the Bible finished. Through the support of the Project42 community, that gap is shrinking every year.
Compassion
Awareness reminds us that physical need and spiritual need often coexist. Most unreached groups live in the world’s poorest regions. Awareness compels us to respond with both care and courage as we bring the Gospel to those who are suffering and those who have plenty.
Why This Matters
The Church is not finished until the vision of Revelation 7 becomes reality—every tribe, every tongue, every nation gathered around the throne. Awareness is the first step toward that day.
Awareness will cause the church to pray, give, and dream differently about how to bring access to the unreached.
Take the Next Step
You are helping bring new nations to the throne room. Who in your community needs to know that the unreached are waiting? Who can you invite to be a part of the solution?
